Hesse Skincare is a new born brand. The client reached out to us at the very start to find answers on how to build their own skincare brand in the premium cosmetic market. After a strategy phase to define the brand, goals and marketing approach, we developed the Brand Identity, Packaging, Content such as Photography and Text and the Corporate Website inclduding eCommerce solution.
Handmade in Germany
A brand is not only a logo, colors and fonts. A brand needs a clear vision, goals and character to become a company that people trust and support by buying their products. Together with Maria and Andreas Hesse, we digged deep to know all about their background, values and principles to form a strong brand strategy as the fundament for a great identity.
It wasn't too hard to decide on the naming as Hesse Skincare is 100% the love and soul of Andreas and Maria Hesse. Their passion, uncompromising and love for quality. For the Hesse logo icon we created a letter that has a traditional german touch as well as a japanese feel to it. German craftmanship and Japanese purity and skincare secrets was the perfect mix to create a modern yet sophisticated look.
Packaging Design and Development
Packaging is key in the high-end cosmetic market. A great packaging communicates the quality of a product not only by a nice print but multi-dimensional experiences such as the touch of materials, special finishes and unboxing. We chose a thick gold metalic paper for the base and added a top part to protect the product. When you remove the top part a little message welcomes you and underlines the quality.

The website finally brings it all together. Our focus was to provide a superb brand experience and allow customers to buy directly from the website. Creating a custom "headless" Website layout that is connected through an API with a powerful Magento Webstore was the best way to ensure a smooth and enjoyable brand experience on every device.

Great Productshots and effectful packaging can only give a glimpse of the oustanding quality of Hesse Skincare products. To give customers more insight into ingredients and context, we created emotional Image Photography to preview the experience that customers will have when touching, smelling and feeling the product.
